Accounts Receivable Clerk
These positions are usually available with a minimum of six
months of experience. Successful candidates for these positions
should have strong communication and organizational skills
with a good sense of customer service values. While many companies
have their own accounting software programs, a basic requirement
is to have knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as
Excel, Access, Word, Etc. A high school diploma or equivalent
with preferably added classes in accounting and/or some college
preferred.
AR Clerk:
Invoice matching, batching, coding and entering.
Posting cash receipts.
Vendor accounts management sometimes with high volumes.
Some general ledger.
Reconciliations
Accounts Receivable Manager
Candidates for AR Manager positions should have excellent communication
skills as well as defined organizational and interpersonal skills.
At least five years of experience with advanced knowledge of
Microsoft Office applications is a must. Preferred but not required
is a college degree in accounting or a related area.
AR Manager:
Supervise the accounts receivable department including collections
and billing.
Prepare aging reports.
Preparing general ledger accruals and reconciling.
Performing general ledger posting and monthly/year-end reconciliation.
